Reading Relays: Spring 2009
This is an opportunity for fifth grade students to read books and show off their knowledge by competing against other students in the district. This year Reading Relays will be held at Ashland Ridge Elementary on Saturday, March 27. Ashland Ridge will be sending four teams to this district competition. Good luck 5th Graders!

Author Visit with Brod Bagert, April 2010
Well known children's poet, Brod Bagert, will spend a full day on April 12 with the students at Ashland Ridge Elementary. Mr. Bagert will give presentations to all grade levels. There will be an opportunity to order autographed copies of Mr. Bagert's books prior to his visit.

National Library Week April 11-17, 2010
This is an annual celebration that focuses on how libraries impact the world by providing access to materials print and non-print for learning and enjoyment.
